Venue Contribution
This covers the basics of running an event and counts towards the hiring of an Opening Act and a Headliner. Contribution also covers the cost of a LaffaCake or Contracted Comedy MC and Compare.
£200/300 – Wednesday/Thursday
£450 – Friday
£600 – Saturday
All other costs associated with the event such as Middle Acts, PA/Lighting Equipment, Transport, Expenses and Promotion shall be met by LaffaCake unless otherwise agreed.
Wet Sales
LaffaCake never requests any percentage of wet sales revenue. The bar is always promoted at every event, wet sales are the main income for the venue and therefore, we aim to enhance those takings at every opportunity.
Obviously by selling Advance tickets, as well as gaining additional income to offset contribution, a Venue will encourage attendance and therefore bar takings.
Ticket Revenue
All attendees must produce a valid eTicket or Physical Ticket in order to gain entry to an event.
- eTickets are sold online through LaffaCake.com only and will be validated with QR code upon entry.
- eTickets are not transferable unless gifted and may only be redeemed by the purchaser or by providing proof of entitlement.
- Physical Tickets may be sold by a LaffaCake representative or a Venue (if agreed), all tickets are security numbered.
- Ticket seller must pay LaffaCake 75% (or other percentage agreed) face value of all tickets sold prior to the Event.
- Physical Tickets are transferable and may be gifted or sold at a discount but not for more than face value.
- Physical Tickets can be redeemed at any public event held at any venue unless the entry fee is greater than ticket face value.
- All physical tickets remain the property of LaffaCake until sold, we reserve the right to recover/void any ticket.
- Lost/Stolen tickets should be reported immediately so ticket numbers can be voided and tracked.

- 100% FV to LaffaCake
