Normally an event will last for 2-3 hours including any intervals and delays. Overall we tend to get things rolling pretty quickly so be sure to arrive early to ensure you have time to buy drinks, snacks, find a seat and mingle.

All of our Comedy Clubs run to similar schedules with an MC introducing acts, support then headline. Sometimes depending on the size of the Venue or Audience the order of events can change. Be prepared for a totally fluid evening, with issues, hiccups and laughs. You won’t be disappointed.

Most events start at 8pm and finish around 10:30pm but check your ticket and any marketing ahead of a specific night!

We strive to ensure that all of the Venues hosting our Comedy Clubs have some sort of licensed bar. As with all licensed establishments, please ensure you only drink responsibly, all people in your party should be over the age of 16 with no alcohol being consumed by persons under the age of 18. In a venue with a public bar, it is illegal for someone under the age of 18 to be in the bar area after 21:30hrs.

Oh, and don’t try to squirrel your own alcohol into our events. Thats just rude!

Of course you can buy additional tickets in a single order. If you are lucky enough to have friends, please feel free to purchase as many tickets as you need. You may have a large party and we will endeavour to seat you together. Please get in touch of us ahead of the event if you require this.

We do however; have to stress that with limited numbers of seating in most of our Comedy Clubs, only purchase tickets you intend to use! Don’t be greedy, you can come back for more…

There is nothing more off-putting to an Artist than trying to raise a laugh from an empty seat!

Seats at our Comedy Clubs can be secured by booking online. In return you will receive an eTicket to your email inbox and also have access through the Account Portal. Each ticket has a QR code which we may or may not scan to check you and your guests into an event.

Unless otherwise stated you can always just ‘turn up’ at an event and pay on the door.

For ticketed events with set pricing, you will need to pay this online or at the event. Requesting payment at the event does not always guarantee entry as some Venues have limited capacity. We always recommend securing your seats online or with a physical ticket well in advance of any Event.

All of our Comedy Club venues cater for the disabled unless otherwise advertised. If you have mobility issues and are concerned about access arrangements, please get in touch and we will endeavour to ensure you are included wherever possible.

We have a number of framework agreements we can employ to ensure you are happy to host one of our Comedy Clubs including ticket sales, artist payment and facility hire.

Please get in touch through out “Host a Comedy Event” page and we will discuss any local arrangements or concerns you have prior to securing an event or advertising you as one of our Comedy Club Venues.

For nights incorporating new act/new material spots, we aim to cover a portion of your travelling expenses, for these spots we may pay £10 towards your expenses, however; for small venues/audiences we may not be able to offer any recompense other than free promotion or mic time.

For our professional acts, we aim to provide a competitive and fair fee for your work, we are fully transparent with our fees.
